THE REUNION 2024
Recognition Service for District Superintendent Steve & Debbie Scott
62nd Assembly of the Sacramento District
Missions & Youth Convention
Note from DS Steve Scott
Dear Friends & Family of the Sacramento District,
Debbie and I want to express our deepest gratitude to the District Advisory Board, the District Office Staff, and those who attended The Reunion on April 25-27 for the very kind, overwhelming honor you blessed us with throughout our time together at this year's events. Your loving friendship, your words, the hugs, the cards, and the many gifts will be treasured for the rest of our lives.
We are grateful for the opportunity to continue as active members of the Sacramento District, and will look forward to our ongoing partnership in fulfilling the mission of Jesus through our wonderful church family.
Thank you Pastor Michele & Jeff Dickerson, and the Auburn Parkside/Gold Country Churches for hosting this year's Reunion. I hope and pray that our delegates and friends will be inspired in the coming months and years to be an Authentic Church, in our calling, desire, and spirit, as the people of God. The world is hungry to know all that we know about a living, loving, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. What an incredibly fulfilling opportunity we have to be living witnesses for His glory, every day!
I am honored to have the opportunity to officially welcome our newly elected District Superintendent, Rev. Darren Reed, and his wife, Julie. Darren will be assuming remote responsibilities as of May 26, and will be relocating to the Sacramento area in early June. Please be in prayer for Darren, Julie, and their family as they conclude their ministry at One Hope Church in Denver, Colorado.
A reception to honor the Reeds is being planned for senior/lead pastors, associates, and their spouses in early July. At that time we will also share in a ceremony of installation as Rev. Reed begins his service as the 5th elected District Superintendent of the Sacramento District.
