April 2024

The excitement was palpable on Easter Sunday. With a beautiful new Easter sign, a delicious brunch served before church, several visiting families, and an inspiring message about good overcoming evil in the cross/resurrection event; 67 of us enjoyed Easter service together.

Pastor Donny Crandell, Gardnerville Crossroads

Placerville Nazarene celebrated Easter with two worship services, with breakfast served in between the services.  Our Worship attendance was the largest in several years with 145 in attendance.  An invitation was given at the end of each service and 10 people received Christ as their Savior.

Pastor Dan Hopkins, Placerville

Our Roseville Church had 130 people on Easter (without any L.T. staff there since we had two services going on at the same time). That’s a new record for us!

Pastor Terry Schneider, Sacramento Liberty Towers

We hosted a Good Friday Prayer Walk which featured original art from members of our community.  “Come see my art” is an effective invite! Offered three gatherings for our best-attended Easter Sunday ever.

Pastor Nathan Oates, Lincoln Emmaus

LifePointe’s annual Good Friday included reflective, powerful music & candles. The theme: the Roman Centurion’s “eyewitness” in full costume. Easter included a free community breakfast followed by a huge celebratory gathering with white lilies filling the platform. The kids hunted for candy filled eggs & the staff went home exhausted!

Pastor Robert Hale, Rio Linda LifePointe

Revive Church celebrated their first Easter service with 180 people in attendance. The highlight of the day was that multiple people accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior for the first time.

Pastor Colby Middlebrooks, Plumas Lake Revive

We give God praise! We welcomed ten new members. Our children lead us in worship. Pastor Carlos peached on Jesus coming back and gave an illustration that captured everyone's attention. We had fourteen baptisms; whose testimonies spoke of the power of God. We ended with fun at an Easter egg hunt.

Pastor Carlos Garcia, Sparks Home Church
