The Sacramento District home office is in Loomis, California, 28 miles east of downtown Sacramento. The District is bordered on the south by Manteca and Tracy, CA; on the west by Fairfield and Vacaville, CA; on the north by Yreka and Dorris, CA; and on the east by Fallon, Nevada.
District Superintendent
Steve Scott
Steve & his wife Debbie are native Californians, and were married in 1985. They live in Stockton, CA, and have two adult sons. Steve is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and a graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University (BA 1977; MA 1980). He has served in full time ministry for over 40 years, including: Residential Life & Admissions at PLNU; youth ministry; senior/lead pastorate; and as district superintendent since 2006. He also served on the PLNU Board of Trustees for 23 years.
He is responsible for the mission vitality of 50+ local churches in north central California and north west Nevada, serving as: chair of the District Advisory Board; chair for Ministerial Studies & Credentials; and as chair for local church pastoral search and leadership reviews.
He enjoys cycling, antiquing, yard work, photography, and the family Rottweiler, Duke. Steve has embraced a life verse to trust God and desire His will in all things (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Executive Assistant
Kaitlin Peoples,
Kaitlin serves as the Executive Assistant for the Sacramento District Office.
Kaitlin was born and raised in Newcastle, Ca. She married her college sweetheart in 1997. She and Michael Peoples met their freshman year at Point Loma Nazarene University. They have 2 daughters who are married, and a son in high school. They live on 6 acres in Meadow Vista where they keep bees, raise chickens and play with their Goldendoodle, Ellie The Fancy Farm Dog.
Kaitlin and Mike served 18 years in church ministry prior to Mike’s current ministry as a Hospice Chaplain. Kaitlin has worked in the District office since Nov. 2014.

Bonnie Marroquin

Bonnie was born in San Jose, CA. She and her husband Omar have been together since December 2000, having met while working together at Big 5. Bonnie moved to Sacramento in 2001 and Omar and his family followed along with his family. They married in August 2005. They do not have children of their own but they say they have 40+ teenagers because they coach high school sports. Bonnie grew up Catholic but once she found her church home with The Crossing in Natomas, she formed her relationship with God and found His unconditional love. God has called Bonnie to love teens and she considers serving her church a gift and looks for ways to love people daily.

Delona Archer
Delona was born and raised in Bethany, Oklahoma and attended the Bethany School System all 12 years before walking across the street to attend Bethany Nazarene University (now Southern Nazarene University). She married and was in ministry for over 20 years in the Church of the Nazarene before circumstances led to a now 17-year career in Bookkeeping and Tax Preparation. In 2019, she became licensed as an Enrolled Agent and works for a CPA firm in Auburn, California. God’s calling on her life came in high school, first as a pastor’s wife, which was a calling to truly just love people where they are at and to value them. She has found that she can still live in that calling as a mom, grandma, friend, bookkeeper and tax preparer. Delona has 4 grown, married children, 5 grandchildren, and a 10-year-old tabby cat named Bunker. God is Faithful!
